Kick off your year with movement, momentum and a bold finish! The New Year’s Plunge at Lake Elmo is more than a dip, it’s your first race of the year! Lace up for a 3-mile or 1.5-mile run/walk around the lake, cross that finish line, then if you dare, celebrate by charging or tip-toeing into the icy waters for an optional polar plunge. Heated tents and warm beverages await!
Whether you’re chasing a personal best or just here for the plunge and laughs, this event is all about starting fresh, having fun, and saying Yes.You.Can! in the new year!
Each registration includes:
- 1 Winter Knit Beanie
- 1 Free Drink from 105 Brewing
- Post Plunge Heated Tents and Beverages
Billings Fish & Wildlife on site to talk about ice fishing and snowshoeing around the area. Learn how you can continue to be active even in the cold months around the area.
Start Times:
10:00 AM for 3 Mile Runners (2 Laps)
10:15 AM for 1.5 Mile Walkers/Runners (1 Lap)
Plunge-Only Participants can go any time between 10:05 - 11:00 AM
The post-run plunge is optional. We will have a water team on site to assist until 11:00am. Take your time or hop right in!
