Making Your Mark (with Bently Spang)

Explore the concept of mark-making, through drawing techniques and materials including pencil, charcoal, and oil pastel. Each class in this three-park series will consist of brief lectures by the artist, discussion in the gallery, drawing demonstrations, and hands-on instruction in drawing. Bently Spang is an independent multidisciplinary artist, educator, writer, curator, and an enrolled member of the Tsitsistas/Suhtai Nation (a.k.a. Northern Cheyenne), who works in mixed media sculpture, video, performance, photography, installation, and drawing. This series is generously supported by Humanities Montana and Art Bridges.
