Join us for a panel discussion of how comics can often illuminate historical context better than standard prose. Author (and former Billings resident) Robert K. Elder will share his insights from his latest book, Hemingway in Comics. Kevin Kooistra from the Western Heritage Center will bring his knowledge of Billings cartoonist Ethel Hays. And Dr. Jennifer Lynn will talk about how she uses graphic novels in her research and in the classes she teaches at MSUB.
