Announcing a fantastic Valentine's Day treat for you and your sweetie to come and see! February 14th is the smoochiest day of the year, so of course we have to play a movie for the occasion, and what's a better film for V-Day than James Cameron's phenomenal 1997 historic romance, TITANIC, screening at the historic Babcock Theatre! Nearly three decades old and still easily one of the most celebrate romance films of all time, TITANIC is an absolute juggernaut of a film, with a massive scale, story, and even more massive emotions, making for a literally titanic viewing experience, especially now that it is returning to the big screen in a historic theatre!
Kate Winslet stars as Rose DeWitt Bukater, a 101-year-old woman recounting her story as a passenger aboard the Titanic 84 years earlier. Rose boards the ship with her mother and fiance while working class men Jack Dawson and Fabrizio De Rossi win third class tickets. Rose proceeds to tell the story of her experiences on the massive ship, highlighting her emotional romance with Jack, unknowing at the time that voyage would soon meet an ill fate on the night of April 15th, 1912!
