We have another very special ONE DAY documentary screening coming soon to Art House Cinema and Pub for you to see this Indigenous Peoples' Day! Monday, October 14th, we will be screening the fantastic new National Geographic documentary, SUGARCANE! A compelling and infuriating documentary directed by Emily Kassie and Julian Brave NoiseCat, SUGARCANE unravels the secretive mysteries of abuse and missing children at the hands of the Catholic church within a residential school for Native American children. As Julian seeks to discover the full story of what happened to his father while he was there, their investigation ignites a reckoning on the nearby Sugarcane Reserve.
