Signature Day at Pompey's Pillar

Join everyone for a day full of activities at Pompey's Pillar to celebrate the anniversary of William Clark carving his name into the rockface on July 25, 1806! In addition to a day of free admission, there will be a travelling map exhibit "Reimagining America, the Maps of Lewis and Clark"; a bison exhibit and presentation; living history: fur trade on the Yellowstone River; presentation of History of the Nez Perce Trail; presentation of Trade Goods of the Lewis and Clark Expedition; presentation of Sacagawea on the Expedition; and Living History: the weapons of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Plus, don't forget to climb the Pillar itself!
Pompey's Pillar is located off I-94, about half an hour east of Billings. Take exit 23 and follow the signs!
Note: It will most likely be extremely hot! Bring plenty of water and plan to stay well hydrated and nourished throughout the day as well as taking frequent breaks while walking the grounds.
