Pumpkin Patch Adventures Around Billings

Fall isn’t complete without a trip to the pumpkin patch, and lucky for us, there are three great options right here in our backyard. From a blockbuster-themed corn maze to simple u-pick traditions, each farm offers its own kind of autumn magic. Here’s a look at what you’ll find this season.

Grandpa’s FarmBillings

2001 58th Street West, September 5 – November 1

This year’s theme is Back to the Future, and the corn maze is packed with twists, turns, and plenty of surprises straight out of the iconic movie trilogy. As you wander, the sound of laughter carries through the stalks, and after dark, the evening Haunted Section brings screams and thrills at every bend.

Families can also explore the Speleo Cave with more than 100 feet of spelunking space, test their aim in the Farmin’ Ball Zone, or climb aboard for a hayride or Cow Train. A wide field of pumpkins invites visitors to pick out just the right one to take home. From daylight adventures to spooky nighttime scares, Grandpa’s Farm delivers the full fall experience.

T&C FarmsLaurel

1927 Holstein Lane, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from September 19 - October 26

At T&C Farms, fall means hayrides, corn mazes, and pumpkins picked straight from Montana soil. It’s the only spot in the area where you can ride out to the fields, wander through the maze, and load up your own pumpkin haul. Fresh breezes from the Yellowstone River mix with the sound of kids’ laughter, creating an atmosphere that makes it easy to stay all day.

Kids can climb and slide on the playground, take a spin on the barrel tractor train, or stop to say hello to the farm animals. Parents can enjoy a cup of coffee from the brand-new coffee bar in the Quonset building while everyone soaks up a full day of fresh air and adventure. From little ones to grandparents, it’s a place where all ages can join in the fun and leave with a few pumpkins (and memories) to carry home. Greycliff MillGreycliff

11 Greycliff Creek Lane, October 4, 11, & 18 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Greycliff Creek Ranch is opening its gates for three special Pumpkin Patch days this October. Families can wander the patch, hop on hayrides, and make their way through a corn maze, plus enjoy a photo booth and petting zoo for the kids.

Just a short drive between Billings and Bozeman, the ranch is also home to the Greycliff Mill, where you’ll find a real water-powered gristmill, greenhouse tours, and even a cheese cave. Their coffee and snacks make it easy to refuel after the patch.
