Pollinator Fair Buzzes Back to Billings

Mark your calendar for a day that’s equal parts fun, fresh air, and feel-good learning. The Pollinator Fair returns to Billings on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Pioneer Park, bringing together families, nature lovers, and curious minds for a one-of-a-kind community event.

Hosted by the Yellowstone Conservation District in partnership with Pheasants Forever, this free, family-friendly fair celebrates the small but mighty pollinators that play a huge role in our everyday lives. In fact, pollinators support more than one-third of the food we eat, making them essential not just for agriculture, but for all of us.

Now in its second year, the Pollinator Fair is growing in both size and experience. This year, attendees can expect even more vendors, educational booths, and hands-on activities designed to engage all ages. But don’t expect a typical “educational fair.” This event blends science with play in a way that feels approachable, interactive, and genuinely fun.

Kids and adults alike can jump into activities like axe throwing, explore a maze and obstacle course, enjoy face painting, and take part in a variety of games scattered throughout the park. One of the most unique additions? The fair is happening alongside a tree-climbing competition, giving visitors two exciting events to experience in one location.

When it’s time to refuel, local favorites Bee Bar406 Wingz, and Sip & Squeeze will be on-site serving up food and drinks to keep the energy going all afternoon.

The atmosphere is designed to be lively and welcoming, with a strong focus on connection. Whether you’re stopping by for an hour or spending the whole afternoon, the goal is simple: to create an experience where the community can come together, have fun, and walk away with a deeper appreciation for the natural world.

The event is made possible thanks to the support of local sponsor Town & Country Supply Association and a strong network of community partners, including Montana State University Extension, Natural Resources Conservation Service, ZooMontana, and many more organizations dedicated to conservation, education, and stewardship.

Best of all, the Pollinator Fair is completely free to attend, and no registration is required. Just show up, bring your family or friends, and enjoy a day that celebrates the start of summer in a meaningful and memorable way.
