Home Canning 101

The first session in a three-part fall lecture series, Home Canning 101 provides a general overview of the principles and science of home canning. Participants will learn about acceptable methods for canning; recognizing unsafe or outdated practices; and equipment selection based on their preferred canning method. This is a 1-hour lecture. Due to facility and time constraints, it is not a hands-on canning class.
