The High Plains BookFest is a celebration of the best literature of the region. Poets, writers and artists from the northern plains and three Canadian provinces converge on Billings for a series of public readings and panel discussions. All events are held in downtown Billings at various venues – Western Heritage Center, This House of Books, Billings Public Library – and all events are free! Thirteen writers will receive $500 check and award plaque from the High Plains Book Awards committee at an Awards Banquet at the Pub Station on Saturday evening.
