Whether your children are too young to volunteer, or you’re looking for a new way to get involved, reading to shelter animals is a purr-fect fit. Not only are the children able to develop their reading skills and boost self-esteem in front of a nonjudgmental audience, but it also provides valuable socialization and love to the shelter animals.
