April's Farm Saturday is focused on the microenterprise husbanding approximately 100 layers. See all the workings of the operation from caring for the layers, coop management, sourcing and mixing feed, rearing chicks and egg collection and sales. Also see the farm ducks and turkeys.
9:30 am - Gates Open. Coffee and Rolls from Red Rooster Kitchen in Laurel available at #TheShoppe.
10 am - Children's Story and Wheat Mill
10:30 am- Tractor Talks - JD 720
11 am - Chicken Coop and Poultry Business
11am - 2pm @MontanaMelt Grilled Cheese onsite!
12 noon - Membership Club info and Q&A.
2pm - Chicken Coop and Poultry Business
5 pm - Evening Bonfire. BYO supper to roast. S'more Fix'ns available in TheShoppe.
