It's officially spooky season, and we even have something for the kids amid all our frightening films! That's right, this month we have another special FREE ADMISSION screening as part of our ongoing Movie Buffs series- a great series intended to get younger audiences inspired by and excited about film and animation- happening October 19th at the historic Babcock Theatre! We are excited to announce that this month's Movie Buffs film will be Henry Selick's incredible stop-motion nightmare, CORALINE, presented by TDS Telecommunications LLC!

Adapted from fantasy genius Neil Gaiman's book, CORALINE is Studio Laika's stunning feat of phantasmagorical storytelling through the dedicated craft of stop-motion! In this story, 11-year-old Coraline is living in a strange old house in her new town, and she soon finds herself discovering a secret passage to a strangely idealized version of her life. In this bizarre parallel world where everything goes her way, she soon suspects that not everything is as it seems, and Coraline eventually makes the horrifying discovery that she will either have to escape this world or make a grisly sacrifice and get lost in the fantasy!
