Join our All-American family as they journey down the The Trail to Oregon!
The Trail to Oregon! is an original musical produced by Starkid Productions; with music and lyrics by Jeff Blim, book by Jeff Blim, Matt Lang, and Nick Lang; and was performed in Chicago in the summer of 2014. It is also the most historically accurate musical portraying the Oregon Trail to date; featuring 12 educational songs, a set precisely replicating the trail’s landscape, and appearances from famous historical figures, such as: Henry McDoon, Cletus Jones, and Cornwallis. Watch it if you want.
The musical parodies the video game series The Oregon Trail, and involves audience participation throughout the show. The characters' names are picked from suggestions shouted from the audience, and at the end the audience chooses which character dies. So come prepared with suggestions!
Tickets are $16 online and at the door, with a $1 off for cash sales.
Dates are April 24, 25, and May 1, 2 at 7:30pm; April 26, and May 3 at 2:00pm
