2025 Fall Event Round Up  

From family-friendly traditions to spooky thrills and festive nights out, Billings has something for everyone this fall. Whether you’re hunting pumpkins, solving mysteries, or dancing the night away, the season is packed with events that bring our community together. Rescued and Reclaimed Harvest Season Vintage & Handmade Market 

Kick off October with a shopping spree through 200 booths filled with vintage finds, antiques, repurposed goods, boutique clothing, jewelry, and more. With live music, food vendors, and plenty of space to wander, this market is a favorite for treasure hunters and holiday prep alike. 

When: October 3 | 5:00–8:00 p.m. (Early Shopping & Sip & Shop with live music by Adam Rutt, $15, includes Saturday admission) 

When: October 4 | 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. ($5, children 14 and under free)

All Hallows Medieval Fantasy Faire 

North Park transforms into a world of jousting, raptor shows, witch dancers, artisan vendors, and, of course, turkey legs. Presented by the Montana Renaissance Festival, this fundraiser for park revitalization brings two days of fantasy, history, and community celebration. 

When: October 4 | 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

Greycliff Mill Pumpkin Days 

Between Billings and Bozeman, Greycliff Creek Ranch opens its gates for three special pumpkin patch days. Families can wander the patch, hop on hayrides, enjoy the corn maze, petting zoo, and photo booth, then refuel with coffee and snacks at the historic mill. Visitors can also tour the greenhouse, gristmill, and cheese cave for a true fall-on-the-farm experience.

The Dinner Detective True Crime Murder Mystery Show 

Billings welcomes The Dinner Detective, an interactive dinner theater where guests solve a whodunit inspired by real cold cases. Between courses, detectives reveal clues and interrogate suspects, who could be anyone in the room, even you. Prizes await the sharpest sleuths.

HarvestFest 

Downtown Billings’ signature fall street festival fills the streets below Skypoint with arts and crafts, seasonal goods, food trucks, live entertainment, and activities for all ages. Enjoy pumpkins, mums, roasted nuts, kettle corn, Montana Brewing Company’s Oktoberfest Beer Garden, and a kids’ play area all in one festive day. 

When: October 11 | 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. 

Where: Downtown Billings, under Skypoint 

Sleepy Hollow Haunted Wagon Rides 

Oscar’s Park brings the Legend of Sleepy Hollow to life with horse-drawn wagons, eerie riverfront scenery, and an animated narration of the Headless Horseman. A Halloween tradition that mixes family-friendly fun with just the right amount of fright. 

When: October 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, 24, 25, 28, 29, and 30 | 6:00–9:00 p.m.

Candlelight: A Haunted Evening of Halloween Classics 

The Billings Depot glows with candlelight as a string quartet performs hauntingly beautiful classical and cinematic favorites. A romantic and atmospheric way to enjoy Halloween with music and mood lighting. 

When: October 17 | 8:30 p.m. 

Where: Baggage Room at the Billings Depot, 2310 Montana Avenue 

The Great Masked Pumpkin Race 

Billings’ quirkiest fall tradition invites racers to dress up, run, or walk with their pumpkins in tow at Riverfront Park. With only 350 spots available, costumes, creativity, and laughter are guaranteed in this community favorite. 

When: October 18 | First race at 11:30 a.m.

Garden Avenue Greenhouse Fall Market 

Shop over 100 local vendors offering pumpkins, mums, holiday décor, and more. With food trucks and festive finds, this community market is a seasonal highlight for anyone looking to decorate or stock up on fall goods. 

When: October 18–19 | Begins at 4:00 p.m. 

Where: Garden Avenue Greenhouse, 219 Garden Avenue 

Haunted Hallows at Two Moon Park 

Dare to take a one-mile walk through the dark trails of Two Moon Park in the Billings Heights. With zombies, clowns, and creepy surprises lurking in the shadows, Haunted Hallows is built to test your courage and keep you moving. 

When: October 24 and 25 | 7:00 p.m.

Boo at the Zoo 

ZooMontana hosts its beloved Halloween tradition with safe trick-or-treating, candy stations, games, and animal-themed fun. Admission includes access to all the festivities, making it a full day of family-friendly Halloween cheer. 

When: October 26 | 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Downtown Trick-or-Treat 

More than 50 local businesses welcome families downtown for candy, treats, and festive surprises. Costumes encouraged for an afternoon of safe trick-or-treating in the heart of Billings.

 Harvest Party 

Celebrate Halloween evening with a free, family-friendly carnival at the Big Red Barn. Carnival games, face painting, and warm drinks like cocoa and cider make this a festive stop for all ages.

Moss Mansion: A Month of Ghosts, Clues, and a Monster Ball 

The historic Moss Mansion turns into Billings’ ultimate haunted hotspot every October. From family-friendly ghost tours to cocktail sleuthing nights and the grand Monster Ball, there’s something spooky for everyone all month long.

Two nights of bar-hopping fun bring creepy cocktails, exclusive drink specials, food deals, and after parties. Costumes encouraged as Billings’ nightlife comes alive with Halloween spirit.
