Wyoming Baroque: Heroes and Heroines

mar 30, 2023 at 7:00 PM

Late 17th and early 18th Century Baroque composers often evoked legendary figures from ancient Greece and classical literature to express their musical passion. Heroes and Heroines celebrates Venetian masters Antonio Vivaldi and Barbara Strozzi as well as Georg Philipp Telemann’s musical adaption of Cervantes’ Burlesque de Quixotte (Don Quixote). The concert, under the direction of Wyoming Baroque Music Director Dr. Mark Elliot Bergman, features Danielle Reutter-Harrah as soprano soloist.

Seating is open at the historic Billings Depot, and available on a first come, first served basis. Doors open one hour prior to event. A cash bar is available for patrons who would like to come early and enjoy the venue, which has been updated to its original grandeur as a train depot station along Montana Avenue.
