This Halloween, we are wrapping up our UNIVERSAL MONSTER MASH series at the historic Babcock Theatre with the ultimate gaggle of ghouls in a special screening of Fred Dekker's 1987 creature feature, THE MONSTER SQUAD! All month long we've been showing you timeless monster films from Universal Studios and, although this is not a Universal picture, it still remains one of the best monster mashups out there, slamming a bunch of creatures together in awesome accumulation of chills and thrills! It's gonna be a great way to wrap up spooky season!

There's a group of teens in town that don't fit in and find comradery in their affinity for monster movies, leading them to form the club known as THE MONSTER SQUAD! When Count Dracula returns to Earth, he seeks out a number of monsters to help him search for a mystical amulet that will give them the power to rule the world. Accompanied by Frankenstein's Monster, the Wolf Man, the Mummy, and the Gill Man, the monsters wreak havoc on the city as they search for amulet! With no one believing the fantastic circumstances of the situation, it seems that the only hope for humanity lies in the hands of the Monster Squad- can this group of underdog teens and their knowledge of defense against monsters work as the last line of defense against such terrible beasts?!
