Saturday, August 17th, the historic Babcock Theatre will be putting on a special screening of Carl Reiner's legendary comedy, THE JERK, starring Steve Martin in one of his very first feature films, in celebration of the film's 45th anniversary! After discovering that he is not black like the rest of his family, adopted loveable idiot Navin Johnson leaves home on a quest for self-discovery, trying out a multitude of different jobs and activities in order to figure out who he really is! He just might strike it rich, but in the end, is all that money more valuable to Navin than the love of his family?
