Announcing another fun-filled film for you and the family to come and see at the historic #babcocktheatre! We've finally got another FREE ADMISSION entry in our ongoing Movie Buffs series, a series encouraging younger audiences to get excited about cinema with classic and contemporary films renowned for their terrific art styles, sound design, animation quality, and powerful stories! This time, we will be having TWO screening of Jeff Rowe's awesome coming-of-age vigilante film, TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: MUTANT MAYHEM, presented by TDS! This film does a splendid job of taking the familiar property and flipping it by turning the protagonists into much more realistic early teenage versions of themselves, with realistic expressions of uncertainty and anxiety as they try to save the day while dealing with self-discovery! After years of being sheltered underground, the Turtles hope to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be recognized as people through their acts of heroism. April O'Neil helps the Turtles crack down on a mysterious crime syndicate, but the boys soon get in over their heads, and an army of mutants is sent after them!
