Rabbi Uri Barnea to Speak at the Billings Public Library

Barnea’s talk will focus on “Setting the Story Straight: The historical connection between the Jews and the Land of Israel.” He will offer a survey of archeological evidence and biblical references to the land of Israel along with historical events and documents that prove the ancient and present connection between the Jews and theland of Israel.
For the last 150 years, but especially after the October 7 massacre by Hamas, the Jewish people have had to contend with unsubstantiated claims denying any connection between the Jews and the land of Israel.
The public is welcome to attend and there will be time after the presentation for questions. The library gathering is hosted by Congregation Beth Aaron, the Reform Jewish synagogue in Billings.
