Announcing another film coming to play at the historic Babcock Theatre August 23rd, we will be treating you to a special screening of the 1980 Colin Higgins comedy, NINE TO FIVE! One of the original contemporary feminist comedies, this is a awesome gem of a film about sticking it to the man in charge while making some money in the workplace at the same time! Dolly Parton, Jane Fonda, and Lily Tomlin star as Doralee, Judy, and Violet, three assistants to full-time pig and executive fat cat Frank Hart, who takes advantage of the girls in the sleaziest of ways. Fed up with his repulsive behavior and the way he runs things, the girls manage to trap him within his own home and seize control of his department! Business quickly booms and productivity soars as the girls change up operations, but how long will they be able to keep Frank tied up?
