Chase Hawks Rough Stock Rodeo

When the lights came up at 7:30 pm sharp in 1995, over 5,500 fans were ready for action; they’ve been ready ever since. Held the Saturday after the end of the NFR, the top stock contractors make one last stop before Christmas with their toughest horses and bulls. Many consider our rodeo the 11th day of the NFR! From the dramatic opening to the last re-ride, this is rodeo action at its best. With chutes at both ends of the arena, there is no bad seat. Once the last bull has left the arena, the stage will drop from the ceiling and the dirt arena becomes a dance floor as we party into the night with the unforgettable band, Reckless Kelly! This event was created to remember young Chase Hawks, a young cowboy taken to soon, and to support the Chase Hawks Community Crisis Fund which helps those facing unimaginable crisis.
