COURTHOUSE LAWN CLOTHESLINE PROJECT 2024
october 25 & 26, 2024
Let's come together to bring this to the light. No more secrets. We are all here for each other. Join Northern Lights Family Justice Center on the Yellowstone County Thirteenth Judicial District Courthouse’s lawn for Billings’ Clothesline Project 2024.
The Clothesline Project is a visual display of the violence and abuse taking place our community. Each shirt is made by a survivor or by someone who is impacted because someone they love is a survivor. The color of each shirt represents a different type of violence.
The purpose of the Clothesline Project is to cultivate awareness of the impact of violence and abuse, to honor a survivor’s strength to continue, and to provide another avenue for them to courageously break the silence that often surrounds their experience. Bring an old t-shirt to decorate with a message of empowerment, encouragement, or naming someone lost.
Northern Lights Family Justice Center is Montana’s first Family Justice Center (FJC), a much needed collaboration and co-location of service providers who come together so those in our community experiencing violence may arrive, connect, engage, and self-determine an intersectional safety plan because everyone deserves safe and healthy relationships.
Participate in the Billings’ Clothesline Project 2024 @ 217 N 27th Street, Billings, Montana from October 25th at noon until October 26th at 2 PM.
