Wednesday, April 9th, we will be continuing April's excellent series, COVID CASUALTIES: THE LOST CULT COMEDIES OF 2020 (a series meant to give some fantastic films their second chance to shine after having been snubbed by the pandemic half a decade ago!), at Art House Cinema and Pub with a special screening of Cooper Raif's terrific college rom-com, S#!%HOUSE! A powerfully down-to-earth depiction of social isolation, lack of confidence, and romantic fantasy during an almost unanimously uncertain time in one's life, S#!%HOUSE is an excellent coming-of-age film full of painfully realistic depictions of the turbulence of college youth, guaranteed to provoke a wide range of feelings within the viewer!

Alex is a lonely college freshman who has closed himself off from his peers, who believes all have their situations figured out much more than he does. In the wake of attempting to navigate his college life, Alex takes a leap and attends a party at "Shithouse"- a legendary party fraternity- where he happens to meet and form a strong connection with Maggie, a fellow college student, as the two begin to help eachother feel less lost in the world.
