It’s all fun and screams until someone can’t find their way out of the Labyrinth at the Moss Mansion starting Friday, October 19th. “We’re particularly excited for this Halloween season”, says Jenna Peete, Executive Director, “because not only are we introducing Asylum, our new Horror Theater experience, but this is the first year our volunteers have built a labyrinth on the grounds. So, prepare to hit a few dead ends as you make your way through the spook filled maze.”
Visitors will also be welcomed into the Moss Mansion for a tour of an asylum inspired by institutions that were considered cutting edge in the early 1900’s. Join a colorful cast of doctors and patients, played by some very talented local actors, as they go about their daily lives. And, for the true night owls out there, the Moss is also offering a special midnight showing of Asylum with bonus scenes…because who doesn’t want to venture up a dark and twisty staircase to the third floor of an old home after everyone else has gone home?
And wait, there’s more! A Food Truck will be featured each night along with other treats. Whether you’re in the mood for a snack after being lured in by delicious smelling kettle corn or you’d like a more substantial meal, we have you covered!
