Hippies & Cowboys

Oct 7, 2023, 12:00 PM

othing brings people together like Music, Art, and Food. Welcome to the first event of its kind, Hippies and Cowboys! Located on the grounds of the beautifully kept Huntley Project Museum, this is a family friendly event for the community. Come as you are and enjoy a day of live music, Arts/Craft vendors, food, and a full bar provided by On The Rocks (a new restaurant located on the Main Street in Worden). Country music? Bluegrass? Psychedelic Synth Hop? We got it. Hippie and/or Cowboy attire and festival attire are strongly encouraged! A lucky winner will be chosen to win a gift card to On the Rocks in our costume contest. The headlining Musical act will feature Goggins, a bonafide Shepherd/Huntley local. Goggins is a multi-instrumentalist Artist, and will be bringing a full band and light show; also included will be incredibly talented featured artists, produced by Goggins, to assemble a show unlike anything you have ever seen. There will be a large variety of performers throughout the day, and a multitude of activities and fun surprises! Gates will open at 12pm on Saturday October 7th, featuring music throughout the day and continuing into the night. We will begin with lighter, more ambient music during the day, with headlining acts starting at 5pm. At this point the crowd will gather around the stage for the concert portion of the evening. 10% of all entry proceeds will be donated to the Museum, in an effort to help them continue providing a beautifully maintained educational experience, as well as a space for events like Hippies & Cowboys! Accepting Vendors through October 6th.
