Cooking Class - Fish en Papillote

Cooking "en papillote" - or in parchment paper - is a technique every home chef should know! This technique results in tender, perfectly cooked fish every time. But after mastering how to create the parchment paper "envelope" to steam your food, you'll be able to apply this technique to chicken, fish, and any vegetables of your choosing.
First, Chef Lisa will demonstrate how to create the parchment paper envelope. You'll "dress" your own fillet of fish with olive oil, salt, pepper and other seasonings. Each participant will create their own unique Fish en Papillote from a variety of provided seasonings and vegetables. As your fish bakes, we'll make a simple salad and vinaigrette to be served along side your fish and vegetables.
This technique is a perfect skills for people living alone to learn, as it creates an individual-sized serving in under 20 minutes. But it can also be easily scaled to feed a crowd!
