Baroque Music Montana presents Mad Mask, exploring the rich improvisatory tradition of commedia dell'arte. Actor Mace Perlman brings a van full of masks and props to embody this ubiquitous method of acting, with musical illustrations from 17th and 18th century Naples. Enter the world of Harlequin, Scaramuccia, Vanni, and Pulcinella, with its deep influences in music, opera, and literature.

This concert at the Kania home in Shepherd on August 19th is open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
