The Bedlam Saints came together in May of 2013, just as the ground was beginning to thaw, in the frost-bitten city of Billings, Montana. Dean’o Hill (A.K.A. DJ Exodus) approached longtime drummer Nick Miles, in regards to the pair combining their collective talents into a “Travis Barker/DJ AM-esque” DJ & drum-styled, musical project. After troubleshooting the technical aspects, and coordinating their first rehearsal, the duo discovered that they were onto something special.
Combining the contrasting elements of Nick’s past touring experience with Deano’s nightlife/DJ skills & network, the group quickly managed to squeeze themselves onto some very unique and unforgettable local shows & festivals. This included multiple mainstage performances at Fairy Tale Music Festival, as well as a handful of Noise & Color Magazine Parties/Events, an opening slot for Neon Trees at the iconic Babcock Theater, and a plethora of other private parties and events.
The Bedlam Saints tend to bring the party everywhere they go. Each show is an improvised, musical masterpiece, verging on the rails of a sonic trainwreck, and hinging on the functionality of a twenty-foot long, headphone extension cable.
Although the group has no plans to retire or disband any time soon… Performances by The Bedlam Saints have become rare, mostly due to Deano’s relocation to the Washington/Oregon area.
