Swarmfest is an annual suicide-awareness music festival/silent auction compiled of local artists/bands held in honor of Billings musicians Dan LaMere and Shayden Nelson, who passed away in 2017 and 2019. All profits from the silent auction are donated to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
Night In At Tiananmens
Night In At Tiananmens, or (N.I.A.T.) is a 5 person Grind/Mathcore band from Billings Montana. Started by drummer JR Anderson and guitarist Tony Morales, and formed in early 2017, we had the first show on January 6th 2018 at Smiling Dog Records in Billings MT! After a few lineup changes, we finally have the current lineup today of JR Anderson on Drums, Tony Morales on Guitar, Zach Ostwalt on Bass, Will Summers on Vocals, and Riley Haynie on Guitar!
We released our first 4 song EP in February 2019 called "THE KINDNESS EP". The EP is completely free to download on Bandcamp! Check it out! We gig all over so be on the lookout! Our full album is in the works! It should be out in late 2019! STAY METAL!
At Home In Hell
Hailing from the cold, mysterious mountainscape of western Montana, At Home In Hell blends an abundance of musical stimulus into a brutally deranged onslaught of chugging riffs and hard hitting catches, mixing influences from east coast hardcore, west coast thrash and southern power groove while topping it all with a bit of industrial metal. At Home In Hell has been an intimidating presence in the Metal scene since 2005, having shared their visually striking stage performances with elite acts such as Soulfly, Suffocation, Battlecross and more. Though it seems onerous to subside on any specific genre characterization, rest assured there is something for everyone to enjoy, whether it be a solid groove, a neck-snapping riff or a soul devouring breakdown.

Stranded By Choice
Stranded By Choice is synonymous with Montana hard rock and metal. For over a decade SBC has refined their unique blend of classic rock, metal and country, both on the road and in the studio. With a thick dual guitar sound and a simplistic yet powerful approach to their song writing, Stranded By Choice is pedal to the metal, Montana mountain rock at it’s best!
December 2018 marked the release of Western Sage, the follow up album to 2016’s Hellroaring. It blends their classic heavy live sound with acoustic instrumentation, layered percussion and moments of pure tripped out psychedelia. While pushing into new territory, Western Stage still stays true to the nostalgic nature of the Stranded By Choice sound. The influence of bands like Black Sabbath, Mountain and Thin Lizzy is obvious in both their studio albums and live shows.
Stranded By Choice has toured the Northwest and Canada extensively and has shared the stage with Red Fang, Kylesa, Blacktop Mojo, Stabbing Westward, Black Wizard, Conan, The Kyle Gass Band, D.O.A. and many more great bands. Stayed tuned for 2019 summer tour dates!
