Summer Events for Kids: Find Your Monster
If you were a child who wondered if “Bigfoot” were real would you accept the word of some adult who simply asserts that Bigfoot is not real? Wouldn’t you ask, how do you know?
On July 22, starting at 2 o'clock, Gavin Woltjer, who is both a trained scientist and the director of Billings Public Library, will be taking seriously the question of whether Bigfoot or other monsters are real. He intends to give children the tools to investigate on their own, to make up their own minds.
This event, co-sponsored by the Billings Public Library, is included in the Library's Summer Reading Program. Children who attend will be able to get points. It is free and open to the public.
