SteamFest 2019
Mark your calendars for SteamFest 2019.
Coming to the Billings Depot Sunday, September 29 from 1pm to 3pm.
SteamFest 2019 is an educational event designed to engage children in learning activities in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (STEAM).
In collaboration with the Billings Library Foundation, Wise Wonders Children’s Museum and SCRaP we've created the very first STEAM event for Billings: SteamFest.
Designed to champion the concept of STEAM learning which adds art and design to the national agenda of STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) education to develop a comprehensive education model that would better prepare future generations to compete in the 21st-century innovation economy.
During this event, kids will be able to roam about and participate in any of the activities they choose including: Make and play with robots, create parachutes for a giant wind tunnel, mini train rides around the Depot, books from the Library’s pedal-powered library, engineering and technology activities from ExxonMobil and much, much more.
The event will take place from 12pm to 3pm at the Billings Depot. Admission is $15 for kids and free for adults.
