Shakespeare in the Parks presents The Merry Wives of Windsor
See Henry IV Part I on July 11th and The Merry Wives of Windsor on July 12th in Pioneer Park in Billings!
Shakespeare’s coming-of-age play. While King Henry IV is burdened with escalating rebellion, his son Prince Hal has forsaken all responsibility to carouse with the drunken but fun-loving Falstaff. But Hal has to make a choice and will eventually have to prove his worth.

Rumor has it that Queen Elizabeth herself commissioned this play because she wanted to see the “fat knight in love”. In Merry Wives, Shakespeare’s lovable loser, Falstaff tries to seduce Mistress Page and Mistress Ford, but is (perhaps unsurprisingly) outsmarted by both.
As always, the performance is completely FREE. Bring a picnic, a blanket, and enjoy a night of professional theatre under the Big Sky.
