Poetry Open Mic Night at This House of Books

We continue with Poetry Open Mic Nights, poetry evenings that have been a tradition since This House of Books came into existence. We meet on the first Tuesday of the month under the leadership of Nichole Almeda Morton.

The series gives an opportunity for poets to present their work outside of a competition or a “slam.” These popular events have featured famous, local, and beginning poets reading and speaking about poetry.

Drop in to give a listen or to read from your own work. Who knows, you may find yourself in the company of the next Montana poet laureate! It’s a friendly group and new participants are always welcome.
