Montana International Film Festival Opening Night

MINT (Montana International Film Festival) is a 5-day film festival located in Billings, Montana, that is organized by filmmakers for filmmakers with a mission is to connect people from all over the world through film.

The second annual Montana International Film Festival will run from September 19th-23rd. MINT went from a three to five day long festival, due to increased programming in 2019. Most of the screenings for the festival will take place at the historic Babcock Theatre, but other venues include the Art Cinema House and The Yellowstone Art Museum. The film festival will be holding a competition for Best Narrative Feature, Best Documentary Feature and Best Female Director, just to name a few. There will also be screenings of films in the following categories: Made in Montana, Indigenous Peoples, Documentary Shorts, US Narrative Shorts and International Narrative Shorts.

Opening Night will take place on September 19th at Babcock Theatre, and there will be a Red Carpet Reception and Opening Ceremony that will start at 4:30 PM. Following the reception and opening ceremony, Epic Yellowstone, which is a documentary feature, will open the festival and screen at 6:00 PM.
