Exclusive Better Days full length music video viewing during the show with a presentation about the songwriting, video creation process, and emotional intent of the title cut. Daniel Kosel and Madrona Road offer aggressive guitar, vox, bass, cello, and drums in a live band format that is viscerally and acoustically exciting, sultry, powerful, and stunning. The sound created by this band is absolutely one of a kind and original. Madrona Road perform songs written and arranged by Daniel Kosel in his eclectic self-styled genre known as Crues Music. Concert goers will be treated to the influences of Funk, Rock, Blues, country, Americana, Alternative Soul, and other musical artistry because Daniel Kosel doesn't adhere to a single genre standard and operates as a maverick seeking an original sound that exists in his head.
Better Days is Daniel Kosel's fourth original album released since 2017. He released Beartooth Stage in March 2017, The Rain in December 2018, More Than Enough in February 2019, and now Better Days in August 2019. Better Days is filled with fresh Country, Alt-Folk, Alt-Rock, and Blues tonalities complete with pretty vocals and emotionally laden lyrics done in his signature Crues Music style. Sugary vocals and tasty acoustic and electric guitar work is healthily backed by the awesome classical presence of Marley Ball on cello, bassist Maclin Wiley, and percussionist Mike Tranel. Mr. Kosel wrote each of the eight songs on Better Days from experiences with things, situations, ecosystems, and people he has seen, heard about, spent time with, or simply dreamed about. The artist put an intense amount of time, blood, sweat, tears, and resources into creating this album and can say that it feels really, really good to actually capture his work as a poet, singer, and guitarist. The ethereal cello of Marley Ball brings a creative depth and a magical essence to Better Days, and Daniel is indeed blessed to have Ms. Ball as a friend and colleague. Better Days was recorded in the vintage performance hall at Roosevelt Center-Red Lodge MT, Edelweiss Riverhouse-Clark WY, MSU-Billings MT, and Washakie County Fairgrounds-Worland WY. Comprehensive sound engineering and recording services were provided by Mike Tutaj of Midnight Blues Entertainment Group, while album photography cover art was provided by Schyler Allyn of Greys River Photography. The creative team of Zeb Ringer, Mia Guzman, Austin Peery, and Schyler Allyn produced the full length music video for Better Days. The intentions emotional and spiritual of Better Days are brought to light in a beautiful, relevant experience through the video piece created by this amazing team.
