Fantasy Spirits: A Hero's Journey

Come on a Hero’s Journey through the Moss Mansion and find if you have the strength and wits of the heroes you know and love from classic fantasy books and movies like Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings, Dungeons and Dragons and more! The main quest for this event will be to visit each of the 5 drink stations throughout the house and grounds, answering trivia or playing games to win your specialized cocktail. But wait, there are side quests too! Along your journey you may be diverted to play a game, solve a riddle, or show your skills in an obstacle course – all to win valuable tokens and prove your hero’s mettle. Should you need a rest from your journeying, there will be a little ‘fantasy village’ of vendors selling their wares and a trading post to grab a snack and a brew. As always, we encourage costumes and will be awarding a lucky winner or two for best costumes at 7:00. We know the cosplay skill is strong in this town and we want to see you at your best! The 5 drink stations will be themed around one of these fantasy stories: Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia, and Dungeons & Dragons but come as whatever fantasy character you love! 5:00 pm – Doors Open…arrive at the time that suits you then check in and pick up your Time Ticket. Time Tickets will allow you access to the mansion at that specific time and will be given first come, first served. Once you have your time ticket, you can tour the grounds and enjoy the vendors until your assigned time, then you can enter the mansion. Last entry to the mansion will be at 8:00pm. 7:00 pm – Best Costume will be awarded at this time, please submit your name with our check-in table by 6:30. We love a competition and hope you do too, come dressed up as your favorite fantasy character and show us your cosplay skills! Your reservation and payment of $55 includes admission to the mansion and grounds, five tastings of our specialty spirits plus a craft beer (non-alcoholic options available too). Know before you go: You will need to report to the back of the Mansion upon arrival. Your group will be assigned a time to get into the mansion. Time assignments are first come, first served, and groups will enter Moss Mansion (for spirits tastings stations) every 5 minutes. Spirit stations will be located on three levels of the mansion and outside, so be ready for plenty of stairs with sensible shoes. Please bring a form of ID if you purchased a 21 and over ticket. Reservations are not eligible for a refund but may be transferred by calling 406-256-5100.
