Bishops Cuts/ Color in Downtown Billings
Bishops Cuts/ Color
While strolling downtown for lunch or during an ArtWalk event you have most likely seen the big orange sign screaming “Bishops”.
Bishops Cuts/ Color fits perfectly with Billings’ Downtown vibe and big city attitude. Funky music and decor engulfs the salon while stylists turn their craft into art, giving each customer a fresh and artistic cut and or color. At Bishops, you instantly feel welcomed and are encouraged to be weird and get down with yo' bad self.
Founded in Portland in 2001 as the alternative to high end salons and cheap chop shops, Bishops was one of the first to introduce customers to the ‘all-ages and all-genders are welcome’ salon experience (as well as being one of the first to hand 21+ clients a beer while they waited!)
The Billings Bishops is locally owned and operated and they offer a full menu of cuts, color, styling options, and facial hair grooming services that will empower local residents to feel more confident in their individuality.

Billings’ Bishops is not only a precious part of the Downtown Community, but Billings itself. Hosting artists during the Billings ArtWalk is a huge piece of what they are. During the ArtWalk you can come into Bishops, enjoy featured Artists work, sample food, and even get your hair done. Its the perfect way to embelish in all different types of art that this town has to offer. Aside from the Artwalk, the Billings Bishops also does “Giveback Sundays”. On these days, Bishops donates 20% of all services back to the community and business of their choice. They have done this for local businesses such as Billings TrailNet, YWCA, ZooMontana, and more!
Bishops Billings offers A-la-carte pricing for haircuts, trims, hairstyling, coloring, blending, shaves, shampoo services, blowouts, conditioning and more, plus an unpretentious staff, being open 7 days a week from the early morning to the late night, and affordability ensures that Bishops makes self-care and hair care accessible to all.
So the next time you grab lunch at Stacked or Shop at the Joy of Living, make sure to stop into Bishops and see what we’re talking about. Who knows, maybe you’ll be inspired to get a crazy color in your hair or change your cut completely.
