Author Event: John Clayton @ This House Of Books
On Friday, March 15 starting at 5:30, John Clayton will be at This House of Books to talk about his award-winning Wonderlandscape: Yellowstone National Park and the Evolution of an American Cultural Icon. As the National Park system enters its second century, Wonderlandscape helps us see the values and heritage that Yellowstone alone has come to represent—how it has shaped America's relationship with her land and how it will continue to do so for generations to come.
This will not be a traditional “author reading.” John has a well-prepared 45-minute slideshow that summarizes the book's themes. It is called "Ten Ways to Look at Yellowstone.” Afterward, he will sign copies of his books for people.
John lives in Red Lodge. He is an insightful and prolific writer of articles, essays, and books about our region.
This event is free and open to the public. Don't miss this opportunity!
