2018 Billings Wild & Scenic Film Festival at the Pub Station

The Wild and Scenic Film Festival on Tour brings a wide-ranging program of thoughtful, inspiring, and beautiful short films to Billings. Northern Plains Resource Council is proud to bring this event to Billings for the 10th year running!

The films illustrate not only the challenges facing our planet but the work communities are doing to protect the environment and the places we love. The stories give us a sense of place and what it means to be responsible stewards of the earth.

This year’s lineup includes topics ranging from biomimicry (design inspired by nature), to the bond between an Inuit father and son, to soil regeneration for a drought-resilient farm, to a feature of lives along our own Yellowstone River! This festival brings close-ups of community protection across the globe as well as portraits of neighbors in our own backyard. An event for the whole family - come hear these stories and more!

Doors at 6:00, films begin at 7:00.

$10 in advance / $12 at the door (children under 12 free with ticketed adult). Tickets can be purchased at The Base Camp Billings, Northern Plains Resource Council, and online at:

About Northern Plains Resource Council:
Northern Plains is a grassroots conservation and family agriculture group. We organize Montana citizens to protect water quality, family farms and ranches, and our unique quality of life. The Wild and Scenic Film festival provides us the opportunity to share our values with a broader community, and present a film program that would otherwise not come to our area.
