Refresh The Rims

The Outdoor Adventure Leadership Program at Montana State University Billings and Billings Parks and Recreation will host the annual Refresh the Rims event on Saturday, October 5, beginning at 9:30 a.m.

Refresh the Rims is the largest organized cleanup of the Rims. During the cleanup, faculty and students part of the Outdoor Adventure Leadership Program and Billings Parks and Recreation will lead volunteers across 5 miles of recreational areas both above and below one of Billings’ defining landmarks to clean up litter and debris. The event has been run by the OAL program and Billings Parks and Recreation since 2012.

Volunteers will be divided into several groups to cover various areas of the Rims. The cleanup will take approximately two hours and is family friendly. Anyone interested in participating is asked to register online.
