Maximizing the Whites in Your Watercolor w. Jess Rice

In this class we will be working on one of the key elements of watercolors which is leaving the whites of your paper showing through. As we paint you will learn techniques to keep your whites open making your paintings sparkle. You will learn how to use masking fluid, wax and how to lift paint to retrieve your whites. We will be working on a ¼ sheet of watercolor paper which is 11x15 inches.
