“Bienvenida!” Family Promise of Yellowstone Valley is excited to announce our 12th annual BEACH BLIZZARD-HAVANA NIGHTS LIVE celebration on February 18th, 2023 at the Billings Hotel & Convention Center. Cocktail hour is from 5pm-6pm with the main event ending between 8:30pm-9:00pm. Immediately following the event will be our VIP After Party in the R Club at the Billings Hotel and Convention Center.
The Family Promise Beach Blizzard committee is thrilled to plan this event that will include a week long online silent auction and end the week off with an amazing in person dinner, live and silent auction, and the VIP After Party! After going virtual for the past couple years we are thrilled to go LIVE!
Join us while we leave the cold snowy Montana weather and head to the warm island of Cuba brimming with vibrant art, soul-stirring music and villages cloaked in colonial charm. You can stroll the “streets” packed with vintage cars like you stepped back into 1959 and take in the sights.
Family Promise of Yellowstone Valley helps homeless families achieve and sustain independence through a community response to homelessness. Family Promise of Yellowstone Valley does this with the help of 30 congregations, over 1400 volunteers and people like you.
Family homelessness is growing at an alarming rate, and in many cases there is simply nowhere for working, low-income families to go if housing is lost. The problem is even more perilous for families with two or more children. As family sizes grow, the availability for housing diminishes and options are few.
As a result, Family Promise has received over 150 calls from homeless families this year alone.
The need is our community is great, and Family Promise is working hard to ensure families have the tools and resources to break the cycle of poverty. We are counting on your financial support to allow us to assist these families with the quality services that Family Promise provides. Every year, approximately 90% of the families that we serve successfully graduate and move into their own safe and sustainable housing.
